SIG is going to milk every possible facet of their designs.

Recently they release a pistol with a comp built into the slide so now _everything_ gets the same treatment. Not to mention their subcategorized system of Standard vs Legion, AXG, Pro, etc. This methodology is going to be applied across the board and SIG will tout each and every one as a "new" model.

With a myriad of iterations from which to choose, one really never knows which generation they are pursuing. Is this a Gen 1, a Gen 1A or perhaps a Gen 3.2? It has all become so convoluted at this point.

Now whether this is a good or a bad thing is entirely up to you [the viewer].
