I’m convinced everything getting swapped over to Sigs in the military is someone’s hand getting greased.

Why would anyone put out a video recovering and even mentioning the firearm/firearm variant that isn’t safe to drop if you have someone near by. That’s a no for me. Gun safety and protecting my family. There are many quality, safe companies out there than sig that will never accidentally go off.

Just don’t drop it. The Bluetooth firing capabilities of the Sig are top notch.

The government got it because it gives them plausible deniability for when someone gets shot 😂

The military didn’t choose Glock because it was too expensive, Sig decided to drop the price

Glocks definitely don’t suck but I love SIG too

Coast guard is actually replacing their sigs with glocks

I love the drop safety thing because it was something hyper specific like it has to land on one specific corner at 36.2° at a drop height of between 5.5 and 5.6 feet on concrete or granite. Sig then immediately fixed it and offered free retrofits as soon as it came to their attention. Yes, this is an exaggeration, no its still not really a big deal.

Also! Why do people feel like theres some kind of fuckery going on? The NGSW program was Sig's to lose. They had it from day 1. No one was surprised when they won. It was the safest and most logical choice. Similarly, with the M17/M18, no one else even came close to competing with sig in the categories that the government said they cared about. Its really hard to get away with corporate fuckery with this kind of thing in the US, there _will_ be a lawsuit from the loser(s) no matter what, so if there was something going on, it would be massively risky and it would probably get found out.

"there's a reason the government choose sig over Glock"

Yeah it's called corporate fuckery

Yeah well glocks don’t randomly blow up while firing or discharge while holstered, soo yeah. Ill take the glock all day.

You’re absolutely right. The government NEVER makes bad decisions and if a person ever drops or bumps a firearm in a way that it spontaneously discharges it’s OBVIOUSLY a negligent discharge on the part of the user.

Glocks suck because they’re too reliable… the first rule of firearm safety is to have fun and it’s obviously NOT fun if the gun is only going to fire when you pull the trigger and not fire otherwise.

Great video dude, couldn’t agree more.

As far as fun to shoot pistols Sig 320s are fine, As far as trusting it with my life yeah I'll take a Glock 19/17 all day. That being said I do want a Sig MCX Ratler, and I also own a Sig 1911 TTT that's is fantastic.

Sig made a lot of backhand deals (most likely) to get all the contacts.
