I’ve completed Elden ring 3 times and I’ve never had this much trouble with a boss fight in my life

my mental state is 2 loses away from turning my damn difficulty down from master to knight, update after 10 straight losses i finally beat his ass, parry and a fully upgraded Triangle hold helps

I've tried him like 25 times. I'm on Grandmaster difficulty and it's been good up until Rayvis, I just can't lock him down in his second form.

I used crossgaurd on the first phase. And the skill that reflects bolts as charged in crossguard is invaluable

Every time I defeat him he is still alive fighting me, I can’t do any damage to him and it doesn’t go to the cutscene

Every fight has been pretty ok on Jedi knight but this fight is easily the hardest in the game the first fase I can beat 1st try but the second one is really hard.

I swear every game where i have to fight a boss with 2 phases it always takes me like 40+ tries the first time but when i pick the game back up in like a year to play it all over again itll probably only take me 1 or 2 tries lol

My Problem is now, that I have to unlearn my perfect dodge trained brain, because that is my go to in every fight ever in this game. The timing is the same, but my first instinct is to press the dodge button, not the parry. Off I go for another try...

Playing on grand master is something else jeez I did great against first phase but too much aggressive attacks in 2nd phase

Thanks for the tip, Yeh time the parrys and break his Gaurd, i found using the Cross Gaurd to beat him quickly does massive damage did him quickly

Before any new player, plays this game, be good at blocking/parrying. It doesn’t matter ur offence it all matters of ur defence, especially against Ravis when u can fuck him up first round
On hard difficulty

Here’s how I did it on GM
Phase 1
Stance: Dual Wield/Blaster Stance
Perks:
With Dual Wield: Stay close, dodge when he swings and/or use Dual Wield ‘Focused Parry’
With Blaster Stance you just shoot and hit him
2 Stims max
Phase 2:
Stance: Blaster Stance
Stay close/Jump and dash towards him when he’s using his rocket ability
Otherwise dodge and shoot with your blaster as soon as he regenerates health
Hit him with your lightsaber after his combo attack
Shatter Perk is basically unnecessary for this fight, I just had it equipped
After 35 attempts with dual wield I changed to blaster stance for Phase 2 and got him instantly, it was fairly easy
I found the regenerating aspect extremely difficult to deal with, bc I had to attack even when I didn’t want to and the blaster shots just took care of that
Otherwise just keep grinding, you will get him ;)
