Rayvis Crossguard only | No Damage, Grandmaster | Star Wars: Jedi Survivor

I figured we might as well cover all bases and get rayvis done with crossguard. Actually, a super fast fight with crossguard. Still got a ways to go with getting all perfect parry's tho. I find it easier to block the first attack most of the time then perfect parry the rest, it just helps give ya time to recognize the pattern and timings, but I still want to get better about that.

Using the time ability to deal with that broken missle and laser attack, I felt that 😅

I know I'm a year late, but for phase one you can actually clear it a little faster by playing a bit closer to Rayvis. Almost all his attacks can be sidestepped directly to the right giving you a good opening at the end of his combo strings for 2 taps. Plus, he has two sequences for the string that starts with a punch. If he punches you and then does a single follow up before his unblockable where he spins his flail around, you can sidestep up the right and land two hits. But if he punches then follows up with 2 hits instead, he does 2 unblockables. Both of which can, again, be sidestepped to the right. You can land a single blow after the first before the second comes, but the second often still gives you another two hits.

It's not much help, but could shave off maybe another 30 seconds. As for phase two, if you use burst slow when he launches his rockets you can grab them out of the air one by one and blow them all back at him individually.

I think difficulty wise rayvis is definitely the easiest boss fight in the game, mainly because of his attacks being the most predictable and easiest to counter but doing this with no damage is really impressive.

This must be on PC because the gameplay and button delay on console is terrible AF. Regret having bought this game
