There’s a time limit for stops to 20. Beyond that is an unreasonable traffic stop.

Officer starts asking questions after providing your driver’s license and proof of insurance and required documentation, tell the officer “I want my lawyer” if the officer starts asking questions. If a citation is issued, sign it, take your copy and fight it in court.

I got stopped, 75 in a 55. Took my stuff, wrote the ticket, explained my options, handed me the ticket, and said, 65 is ok, 75 is not. Then he just left.
