Stacking buckets wrong ! Place plywood square between each bucket. The bucket weight will rest on the rim of the bottom bucket. Weight on inside of lid will break over time as plastic drys out. Inside area of lid is very thin. I've seen other prepper channels report on this.

Use both sizes of storage containers. It's just sensible.

Excellent video. I've been prepping since the 70s, before I even knew what it was called.

If you can’t find a bucket opener. Simply place a knee on the center of the lid and peel back the lid while leaning some body weight onto the lid.

I would think if you were a beginner, the best thing to do is buy the food and then can, freeze dry, dehydrate or vacuumed seal it yourself, then to purchase those expensive #10 cans or anything else that has already been processed... Sure they are nice but the prices of it. I mean, if you are rich and not on some type of limited budget, sure, this will work great. Now however, doing it yourself can be a lot of work, but in the end, you will have twice as much for almost half the price and that is at today's prices.... Just be smart and shop around, look for those mark down/clearance stuff and don't buy a bunch of junk gadgets that isn't necessary. Nice pantry! Thank you.

Why the negatives Nancies??? The food topics are important and everyone has their own priorities/abilities when storing up for any future needs. Please keep on posting! You’re doing a good work!! 👏🏼

I use totes instead of buckets because you can put more in them. They cost about the same price now $7 to $12 depending on where you live and where you shop. If all your dry goods are in Mylar bags then you don't need a air tight container like a bucket.

i don't know why people choose to live in a land where you feel you need to prep incase of missiles attacks and so on. the earth is big just make a plan and move. the reality is this isn't the movies there will be no time to escape or do much. many peppers i think are people who suffer from excessive anxiety and worry about the future events they have no control over. i do believe one should be prepared for certain things but to live like this is to my opinion a waste of money. like a guy who has 100 guns in his home hidden behind walls and he's making bunkers and all that. this is all from watching too much movies. these bunkers won't even save you from a powerful tornado let alone a nuclear weapon.

Preppers mean well, but the women be showing bread & dinner menus like all will be well. No one will be baking bread when you're out of power and defending your home from starving people. They need to realize lol.
