I used to work for this place where you could "gamble" and we had tvs to entertain the customers. One of my regulars, who I'd previously considered a sweet old lady, called me over to ask me to change the channel because she didn't want to listen to "their TV".

There was a Hispanic family on Family Feud.

This is why so many people want someone in office who will enforce stricter punishments and laws. The current system now allows things like this to go virtually unpunished. As an American I feel awful that another person would treat him and his family like this. America is a melting pot and if she doesn’t like that she’s free to leave. I’m glad the business became more successful in light of this woman’s actions. Personal issues are in no way a reason to treat others like she did. I’m sure people have looked into her and made her realize her actions aren’t okay.

As a veteran, and a retired military soldier who’s served our country for 20 years I have to say I’m tired of people taking credit for their relatives service; that’s their honor not yours and it’s definitely not a pass to say racist sh!t to people in the community; stop using our service as a shield for your bigotry

No one ever realizes that the people they are belittling speak at least 2 languages while they only speak one. I am in awe of anyone who can speak another language besides their native one.

I had 3 cancers in 3 places and was told to prepare my family for the worst. It didn’t make me treat people badly quite the opposite in fact, I decided to treat every day and everyone better. This was 14 years ago and I am still going strong and treating people better and being kind as my general outlook everyday. You never know when your last day will be and I would rather go out knowing I had been kind.
This vile excuse for a human being got off lightly in my opinion. What she did was to me at least a hate crime and she should have been treated accordingly. Horrible and nasty person period.
