Legendary Katz Deli in New York City

This place was SUCH AN EXPERIENCE! I thought I made a good sandwich but this place puts anything I’ve made to shame, and they do it with ease! The oldest deli in NYC, and there’s a reason why they are still around! Have you tried it? Let me know what you think!

Donnie, I am so happy you and your family got Katz's and had a monster sammich! I'm up in Albany and for years I wanted my wife, whose family is right outside the Bronx to take me to Katz Deli! I eat tons of Reuben sandwiches upstate, but Katz is the premier, the original, the best-shop for corned beef and pastrami! Hands down. Congratulations to you for an epic video of your experience there!

Their corned beef is my fav! All meats there are smoked. Super tender and juicy. Their turkey is some of the best I’ve ever had! One tip is to ask them to cut it lean. Many times they’ll leave a bit of fat on there. I find that it tastes best when it’s trimmed lean.

$35 for a reuben is a joke. This place is a tourist trap and it appeals to the "i'm spending more money = this is totally worth it."
