Learn how to do a dumbbell front squat.

| Directions |
1. Stand with your feet slightly wider than hip-width apart, holding a pair of light dumbbells down by your sides. Clean the dumbbells up to your shoulders so that one end of each dumbbell rests on top of each shoulder. Balance the dumbbells on your shoulder by holding on to dumbbells with elbows facing forward. This will be your starting position.

2. Keeping your head facing forward, your back straight, and your chest high, squat down by bending your hips back while allowing knees to come forward slightly, keeping your back straight and knees pointed in the same direction as your feet. Descend until your thighs are at parallel, or just past parallel to floor.

3. To return to the starting position, extend your knees and hips until your legs are straight. Repeat for the recommended number of reps.

people should understand the principle of training it s not always how much weight u can lift its more mind set and how u can make the excercise harder adding no rest or another superset etc etc

I started this today with 20 pound dumbbells 4 sets of 12 reps felt painful since i never worked on my legs only upper body(biceps, triceps, shoulders and back) but I started to look uneaven, so I need some leg work .

Ya watch that weight homies! Lol. I haven’t worked out in like 12 years and thought it would be a good idea to squat like this 4x12 sets 25lb dumbbells. My quads were so sore I walked with a stick up my ass for 2 days 😂😂

Been doing 5 sets of 15 of these with 55lb dumb bells. I will say I "V" the dumb bells, where the sides not touching my shoulders are touching each other. Probably kind of a cheat, but the focus is squats, not upper body. As it is I do feel an upper pump off of these.
