Galatians 3:28 I could explain it a lot better with this verse
“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”

Wow Dr. Brown I’m surprised with your answer. Paul was not comparing Spiritual jews with natural Jews. How do I know this? Because the whole theme of chapter 2 is “to the JEWS first and also to the GENTILES”. Paul was saying the Jews were circumcised according Abraham but were breaking the law of Moses, which nullified their circumcision. But Gentiles (who were naturally uncircumcised) was keeping the law of Moses, which meant they were circumcised in their hearts. Paul is comparing natural circumcised Jews to spiritually circumcised gentiles; not natural Jews to spiritual Jews. Paul said if the uncircumcised (gentiles; not “uncircumcised in heart jews) keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision (a gentile) be counted as circumcision? The scriptures clearly teaches us that the gentile believer has been grafted into the Jewish olive tree. It teaches us that we are also the seed of Abraham. We might not be spiritual Jews in Dr Browns eyes but we are in God’s eyes. And that’s all that matters. If God be for us, who can be against us?

By The Blood of The Lord Jesus Christ we are the adopted seed of Abraham that has been grafted in!

Dr Brown, I found your analysis of
Roman 2:28-29 to be very disappointing
and lacking in that you completely missed the point Paul was making.

Paul began by using the general term "Jew" as a standard for righteousness. The term is also used in the metaphorical sense to apply to one who pleases God.
....▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪
Paul then shows, just being born as a physical Jewish person does not automatically makes a person pleasing to God. Rather, to be truly pleasing to God; in other words, to be truly "Jewish", a person must inwardly (in the mind, in the spirit) humble oneself (be circumcised) before Jesus and accept him as Ruler of our lives.
I suggest all should read the rest of Romans chapter 3. This entire letter was primarily written to Gentiles in Rome. He was letting them know they had equal standing under the "new covenant" within the newly announced spiritual Israel to which they had been graphed in to or adopted.

The man named Israel, formerly called Jacob, had 12 sons. Only one son was named Judah, from which the tribe of Judah is descended. Genesis 35:23 KJV The sons of Leah; Reuben, Jacob's firstborn, and Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Zebulun: 24 The sons of Rachel; Joseph, and Benjamin: 25 And the sons of Bilhah, Rachel's handmaid; Dan, and Naphtali: 26 And the sons of Zilpah, Leah's handmaid; Gad, and Asher: these [are] the sons of Jacob, which were born to him in Padanaram.

I understand the compassion almost turning into bias that Dr Brown feels for the Jewish people. I used to feel the same way for my Muslim's side of my But the problem is that it might prevent you from nailing the truth on the head when you have to.

Paul found himself in the same scenarios, but never ceased to show tough love whenever there was need to.
Galatians 3.28 -
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Whosoever knows Christ according to John 3.16 and 1 John 2.3 is a Spiritual Israelite waiting to become part of the real Israel that Christ the cornerstone will lay its foundation in the millennial kingdom.

What a convoluted twisting of Scipture, clearly only those who submit to Christ have a circumcised heart. John the Baptist refuted Brown's argument with direct clarity in Mt 3:9. The opening salvo of the Kingdom proclamation.

Dr Brown how does any Jew know he is a blood descendant from Abraham and not a descendant from the mix multitude at mount Sinai or the thousands of proselytes spanning from the early BCE?

I think, on the contrary, this is EXACTLY what Paul taught...when there are no more jews or gentiles only believers in Jesus Christ, he is affirming that before Jesus, the jews were God’s chosen people and this only because Jesus would be born from them. And now that Jesus finished his work on the cross, what ONLY. matters is if we believe in him yes or no...nothing more- Jews are still hooked on their ceremonies and laws and rituals and offerings etc... and MOST importantly they STILL ferociously deny Jesus TO BE who He SAID HE is.. do you imagine ‘God’s chosen people’ being like that?

Dr Brown, I respectfully disagree with your exposition of Rom8:28-29 and these are my comments;
Here in Romans 2:28-29, Paul is using "Jew" in its spiritual sense. In this sense, "Jew" includes any converted person—even a Gentile. It indicates the church as the body of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:22-23; Colossians 1:18), when we recognize what is written in Hebrews 7:14: "It is evident that our Lord was of the tribe of Judah." He—Jesus Christ—was a Jew by birth. Therefore, since He was a Jew, and we are part of "the body of Christ" in the Bible's imagery—therefore we are spiritual Jews. And because we are spiritual Jews, we are spiritual Israelites.

It does not matter what race or ethicity we are. If we are converted, we are a Jew in the eyes of God because we are part of Christ's body. That is the spiritual application. If we are a Jew, we are an Israelite too, and because the promises were given to Israel, the descendants of Abraham, the promises then apply to us gentiles as well. Thanks

Dr Brown, I have benefited from your ministry but this is a subject where you greatly err dear brother.

10:12 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, 10:13 To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?10:14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD's thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is.10:15 Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.10:16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked. Deuteronomy

2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Romans

3:1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.3:2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. You seem to have hard time separating the flesh and the spirit..

Rom 2:28 kjv: For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

Rom 2:29 kjv - But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Rom 8:9 kjv: But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Rom. 8-1 kjv :There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Heb 12:9 kjv: Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

Gal 6:8 kjv: For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Agree. And the Bible can make so much more sense when you begin to see and learn the differences between Jesus' earthly ministry to the Jews, and His later message to gentiles thru Paul, after the Cross. It's only confusing if trying to make everything in the Bible apply equally to everyone. I prefer to think of it, as Paul teaches. Believing Jews and gentiles can share the same "root" (Jesus). But we are still different type branches. We are not Jews, spiritually or otherwise. We are the Body of Christ.

I think born again born from above is not of this flesh. I once saw this beautiful tree had TONS of branches. I was asking God to tell me He loved me just as much as any Jewish person. yeah I now.. where I was at. Hearing Jewish people say about Chrisitans "thats MY God they have".. it got to me lol I wanted Him to just say He loved me the same. He didnt lol this hand comes down with this tree.. wow so beautiful. Dark brown yet light brown. And it had TONS of branches... all were like a "U" shape.

He spoke.. said "show me a branch that was not originally of the vine. I am the vine you are the branches. I am the vine you are the branches." I am kinda still stuck on what He meant "originally of the vine". But...NO ONE but NO ONE can tell what branch was grafted in.. its as if it was born made came out of the vine.

It was no "I love you just as much"... WOW took it somewhere I never would have. All truth and then backs it up with "I am the vine you are the branches". There is no difference with Him. NONE

Not all Israel is Israel....Rom_9:6  Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Everyone has to become spiritual Israel even flesh Israel has to become spiritual Israel

I disagree dr. "If an uncircumcised man keeps the righteous requirements of the law, will not his uncircumcision be counted as circumcision. Will not the physically circumcised, if he fulfills the law, judge you who, even with your written code and circumcision, are a transgressor of the law? For he is not a jew who is one outwardly", etc.
Clearly he was saying that a jew or a child of god is one who has been circumcised spiritually by christ. Paul clearly said there is no jew or greek.

Dr Brown..how about this verse
"Someone told Him, "Look, your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you"
But Jesus replied, Who is My mother, and who are My brothers?
Pointing to His disciples, He said "Here are My mother and My brothers. For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother"
Dr.Brown..what can we gain from depriving Christians of that joy to utter these words" I am a Jew at heart"? Christians who follow and obey the God of Israel are spiritual Jews...and are Jews by heart.

I would have to disagree with your understanding of Romans 2:26-28. The context is physical circumcised (Jew) vs uncircumcised (non-Jew). That is the context from Romans 2:26-28. Unless you believe a Jew can still be a Jew uncircumcised.

Great teaching Michael Brown!! 😎

Important to lift up in those antisemititic times we live in!!

"Many people find it unfortunately hard to accept the fact that the Jewish people are God's chosen people.“ 😔

They are totally misunderstanding God's Wisdom and intentions by choosing the jewish people!

*God didn't chose them to favorise them. His intention was that
no-one should be able to boast in himself!! 😎😇🙌🙌🙌☝️💓🇮🇱💖

It does even exist Biblepassages that clerifying this.

*This is the God of Israels real reason for choosing the jewish people; "small meaningless people in humans eyes" * 😎

I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: if by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy : and if the root be holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not high-minded, but fear: for if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree; how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
Romans 11:11‭-‬24 KJVA

God bless you richly Michael Brown!! 😎😇

Don't focus to much on the critical people. All we can do is to pray for them and when they might get deeper revelation about God's wonderful plan!! 😎😇
