Thank you . I actually was 2 months meeting with a CBT specialist and it did help me a lot with improving my attitude and my base line of tinnitus got lower with time. I am 4 months with this. I just will change now my attitude as you said, " my tinnitus today is noticeable and I can still function and go to sleep" .
I had a day this week which my brain did not perceive he tinnitus at all and when I put my head on the pillow my fun was over and I got really sad it came back again.
That quiet day I was doing easy yoga for 30 min. in the morning, having easy morning and eating food I enjoy..and I also practiced being grateful and love where I am in my life, which I think what made my mind go ease and quiet for that day.

BUT, What I miss in my opinion is the opportunity to talk to someone about it and share with each other how we handle it.

😊

Just an observation but many of these suggestions are equally important for non-tinnitus individuals so getting your family or partner involved in health and wellness, pre sleep routines, meditation, etc etc will benefit them too.

These are useful reminders. I’m experiencing a spike today. Decided to sit down with a cup of tea and replay these 15 tips. Tinnitus is gradually calming down. Thanks again Dr Ben.

Thank you Ben. Very helpful and thoughtful delivery. The loop and references to neuro activity made it a much more approachable and manageable treatment solution. Vagus Nerve involvement? What do you think about tapping and eft? Thank you. You have given me much to think about.

I’ve had tinnitus for about two years. Took a hearing test, learned I couldn’t hear high pitched sounds any longer. My ENT told me my brain was trying to recreate the sounds I could no longer hear, hence my tinnitus. Plus recent allergy issues also contributed to my tinnitus especially on “bad” days when I’m congested. But now that I’m on allergy meds and use hearing aids my tinnitus has been reduced significantly. However at night when I remove my hearing aids my tinnitus returns. Initially used sound therapy to fall asleep but don’t anymore as I’ve habituated and typically fall asleep rather quickly. So if you’re struggling with this insidious disease I highly recommend getting a hearing test and perhaps an allergy test. Certainly helped me and I hope it can help all of you out there.

Many thanks to you and your team Dr Ben. I developed tinnitus several months ago and it was a very uncomfortable experience. I was fortunate to discover your videos on YouTube and have now habituated to tinnitus using your recommendations.

I have had tinnitus for 18 years (I am almost 55 years old) and I habituated to it, but about six months ago it just went crazy, high pitched. The ridiculous audiologist in my town said "you have mild high frequency hearing loss" uh, yeah...that's the sound of my tinnitus now. She then said, they (the ENT) probably can't do anything about it because you have had it so long. Gee thanks for nothing. And this is the clinic that deals with tinnitus supposedly.

Great information Dr.Ben. I am happy I said no thank you to the tinnitus expert I saw. She wanted to put me on some sort of medication to help with frequency fluctuation. I have my appointment coming up with my audiologist to go over hearing aids that my insurance covers.

Hey Ben. Yet, another excellent caring, positive and honest video. Just wanted to add craniosacral therapy and even a good massage therapist. You know Julian highly recommends it and I work with my massage therapist in this way and wow, it really settles the mind/head down. I like how Treble Health takes a multi prong approach and I think we should too with all your tips and even encourage ourselves to get off Caffeine, Alcohol, foods that cause sugar spikes. Even stop getting high from THC. We need to treat ourselves kindly, with compassion and not throw all this garbage at our brain. Let the brain do its work with Habituating. Heck, even a nice cup of Tea, while couch surfing Treble Health Videos.

So temnitis is involving the brain correct?
I have a bearded dragon in the house and it doesn't like his crickets. Every time I sit in the livingroom and hear the crickets. When I leave the room my temnitis is gone for a while. But it comes back so I listen to cricket noises when I go to bed helps me with sleep.
But this morning after, 9 hours of listening to crickets it is still there. I will continue with the cricket sounds.
