What type of surgery is best for a patient struggling with facet joint issues or PARS a fracture. I'm assuming it's most likely a fusion but wondering can an ALIF fusion work for facet joints issues or do you have to have a posterior fusion.
I can understand a posterior fusion maybe more viable for a pars defect, but would like your thoughts?

I asking for ALIF because i think it less destructive in comparison to posterior surgeries.

dr.diuglas I have spinal stenosis and it will mean the world to me if you can look at my MRI, I have been in pain management for many years and had my first spine surgery last January 9th, 2020, I am in so much pain I can't sleep, I have hip stenosis tendonitis and fibromyalgia as well, I need some honest advice.
