She thought about accepting him that was always her dream to meets a man like him. However She didn't say Yes, bcz She knew she didn't love him. She loved Gilbert. As much as I love Gil, I do have a soft spot for Morgan Harris. I definitely didn't think so when I was younger (he was an old man!), but watching it as an adult, I find him really handsome. Also love his theme (music), such a pretty little tune. :)

I normally hate it when movies deviate this much from the books, but I really fell in love with this movie despite all the changes. The relationship between Anne and the Harris family is so beautiful, and the on-screen chemistry between them truly sweeps me away. Honestly, this movie did the impossible, which is making me wish Anne had said yes to Morgan, even though that's not how it ends up in the books. This scene is honestly one of my favorites in the entire series. Their relationship, their chemistry, the costumes and hairstyles, the acting, the cinematography, the music, it's absolutely magical.

My favorite character in Anne of Avonlea, maybe even the whole series, is the cantankerous old matriarch, Morgan's mother.

I went into this knowing not to get attached because Anne would end up with Gilbert and I still got attached lol. I loveddd Morgan’s character. In an alternate universe, I would have really loved to see them end up together. But, alas, there’s always fanfiction.
