Please use a paper clip or toothpick to hold the reset button for 2 seconds.
It is best to attempt the reset with the headphones charging. This way,
you can verify that the reset has occurred, as the LED will turn off.

Thank you so much, mine stoped working and I could't figure out why, they wouldn't turn on, pressing the reset button in the headphone jack did the trick for me, now they work

1. I couldn't understand what have you done exactly. My control knob (the gold button) is not working and I don't have that white light when opening. Hello, I have two problems:
1. the spiral cable of an earpod is broken just next to the hole where it goes inside the earpod...in fact sometimes the headphones don't turn on or they turn off while i'm listening...
2. One of the adapters of the hinges (i mean the mechanism that regulates the headphones over the head) is broken and the earpod comes off with all the metal hinge)...I don't know how to be more clear...
Can anyone tell me how to fix these problems? Is it possibie?
