But you can also trick your brain into making that feeling last longer by mixing in some protein and fat that takes longer to digest.

Summary: 1) Ask yourself are you really hungry or are you eating out of boredom ?
2) If really hungry, eat fruits and vegetables since they have high water content and will make you feel full
3 Trick out your treat by adding some fat to vegetable (eg: Peanut butter on apple, or guacamole on carrot)

I suffer from acid reflux last 13 yrs to I am take pantaprazole every day and I don't take spicy or heavy food but not relief in acid reflux, heat in stomach and gas. due to stomach problems my brain not working properly and my body not accept energy into food while digestion my digestion so weak and if any day I don't take pantaprazole feeling more acidity all day and i didn't digest anything without pantaprazole.
