Renlistment only gets up to 100k if you reenlist a second time.

You can get around 90k if youre lucky enough to get picked up as a Mechanic and then lucky enough to be picked as a Lab Tech.

Emphasis on "Luck". You dont choose your job other than it being a Nuke job.

The vast majority of Nukes get around 60 to 70k reenlistment bonus....which will be taxed unless youre lucky to be on deployment in a tax free zone.

Of course bonuses can change for the better...or for the worse...

That said, Auto E3 at boot camp, Auto E4 3 months after boot camp (If Mechanic), Housing allowance a year in for school, and Auto E5 after 21 months (with Housing Allowance) is still a good deal if you like the job.

That’s not correct. I know many Nukes from the Navy that don’t have degrees. You can pull your JST credits from the military during or after your service to see what credits you have but it’s not a Associates degree. Those will more than likely fill up the elective credits. It depends on the University or College you apply to after if they will accept and honor those credits from your JST. Some do and some don’t.
