The problem is strange didn’t explain that he was going to make everyone forget before he casted the spell or explained that the spell can’t be changed easily while casting if he had he could have make sure the spell only effects the people that learn Peter’s identity after mysterio

strange has a point about peter not trying to plead his case or changing the spell several times. but he's forgetting one thing: not getting accepted was just the latest example of how his life has changed completely. Because of Mysterio's plot. of course, peter would want the exposure undone. what strange should have done was cast a spell that made everyone forget Mysterio's broadcast. that would have returned peters life to (his) normal

This scene is unexpected: I expected Strange to go into further details about Peter’s wish. Furthermore, he should have stopped the spell in the middle if he knew it was going beyond his control instead of constantly trying to fix it. Was the spell a once a year kind of thing? I may have forgotten.

Literally ALL Peter had to do was have Dr Strange create an illusion of Spiderman swinging thru the city, while Peter just so happen to be talking to the media in front of thousands.Ppl believe more what they see with their own eyes, than words.Once that went viral, his secret would've been safe again.
