When you realise that spider man said mr Stark I don’t feel so good a few mins before dying because of his spider sense

This scene shows that despite being an amazing hero, he’s still just a kid.

The reason Peter said, "I'm sorry.." was because in spiderman: homecoming, Tony said "If you die, i feel like thats on me."

The fact that Peter said "I'm sorry" to Tony before he died absolutely breaks my heart, because Peter knew that Tony would feel guilty over his death.
What's almost even worse then that is Peter has spidey sense, so he could feel that he was dying. he also has enhanced healing, which means that every cell in his body was fighting to keep themselves together. Which probably was incredibly painful.

Just the way he said "I don't want to go" made me so sad :(

His desperate begging as he realizes he's fading still kills me. :'(

It’s that look on Tony’s face for me. As soon as Peter says “Mr. Stark”, you can literally feel the horror and disbelief emanating from Tony because he’s realizing that the one person- the ONE person- he couldn’t take losing was about to die. “No, please, not him” is written all over his face and it breaks my heart every time.

You see Stark begin to wipe the dust away instinctively at 00:33, then he suddenly realizes it’s Peter and delicately closes his fist instead, as if to cradle it. Downey’s subtle acting in this is incredible.

Tony: **body slams him**

The part where Peter hugs Tony saying "I don't wanna go" broke my heart it shows he's still a kid he isn't ready to die yet and this shows even when he risks his life he's scared to die this broke my heart

It's the fact that his spidey senses are going off like crazy, but he's not able to actually dodge or avoid anything. It must be both paralyzing and dizzy. That is probably why he stumbled into Tony Stark.

Just had an idea I learned about. Right after Peter gets dusted, Tony looks at his hand and I believe he was waiting for himself to get dusted and the agony intensified when he realized he was left alive to deal with the aftermath of the deaths!

Can we all just see how broken Tony is after watching Peter die/disappear

I remember watching this in the theatre. Everyone was so silent watching all of the deaths, and the exact moment u hear peter say "stark" to get his attention, u could hear people finally start to make a commotion. Even my dad who likes to act all hard and heartless broke when peter disappeared. This scene really reminds us that he was just a kid. a scared kid who didn't wanna die.

Something I didn't notice before is that when he first falls into Tony's arms, he says "Save me, save me" and then he says "I don't wanna go, I don't wanna go." Which is always what turns my crying into ugly sobbing, because we already know Peter's young, but that just solidifies it so painfully, and we also know how horrible Tony feels too. And then in Endgame, when Tony returns home, and the first thing he says to Steve is "I couldn't stop him. I lost the kid." God, it makes my heart ache terribly just thinking about it.

That fact that Peter kept hugging Tony tighter and tighter is just heartbreaking.

Tony Stark: I watched my friends die. You'd think that'd be as bad as it gets, right? Nope. It wasn't the worst part.

Nick Fury: The worst part is that you didn't.

Tony's personality and behavior throughout the movies is both what is charming and what is heartbreaking him and this scene, especially. When Peter says he doesn't feel good Tony still has a bittersweet sense of humor/denial with his response, "You're alright." It's a response that is true to his nature by trying to keep the situation light, but is felt as though he is trying to reassure Peter as much as he is trying to reassure himself. Comedy is his front, even in grief.

It doesn’t matter how many times you watch this.

I still keep crying.
