For me doing all my vertical pulls on rings is just fantastic, the rotation of the rings allows you to pull with a natural feeling and it takes away the stress in the shoulders, wrist and elbows. For me I get to feel my lats more when I do chins and neutrals on rings because of the added range of motion. But for the past weeks I have been practicing my pull ups ( still on rings ) during pull days to become proficient at it.

Super Video, danke!
Übrigens: Hab nach 1, 5 Jahren Training vor 3 Tagen zum ersten Mal Neutral Grip Pull Ups gemacht, und mir brennen immer noch massiv die Unterarme! Ist also echt interessant, was der Griff so ausmacht.

Great point about the chin up being hard on impingement! I had shoulder impingement a few years ago and although I'm pretty much cured and pain free, I've noticed if I do a lot of chin ups I end up with the symptoms slightly again. Whereas the pull up is totally fine even at decent volumes!

Im using chinups only because of the lockout at the top. I have to own the weight not only shoot my chin over bar for brief second.

Micha Schulz. I'm new to your channel. Thanks for this calisthenics series. Great to do at home or outside in a park since the gyms in my area are closed. Thanks for your video. Let's stay connected. 👍🏾

I can’t help my shoulders rolling forward in the top position of the chin up. I’ve tried to correct it to do chin ups as in the video but I don’t achieve it

If you someone 70 lb weighted chin ups, does that mean their weighted pull up will also be 70 lbs...or do you think it would be a little less?

Im going to ask something without insulting here, are there any calisthenics people who are above 1, 80cm? I know calisthenics make a very big difference in matters of height and weight
