Thank you for watching. What frame rate they usually record at? What camera are you using and what editing program are you using?

I tried understanding the frame rate and watched many videos. This one is the best. I now completely understand frame rates. Thank you, Zdenka.

Zdenka I finally got it, I recorded at 60fps for slow motion scenes and then on Adobe Premiere Pro imported clips @60fps, then I selected all right click and use the option "Modify-Interpret footage-Assume this frame rate: 23.976fps" and voalá all my sequence is now 23.976 and can do slow motion without jittering.

Thanks for all your videos.

Thanks so much Zdenka. Last year on holiday through Europe I somehow switched my camera settings from 24 to 60 fps halfway through the holiday without realizing. This presents an issue in post when trying to join all the clips into a full movie. Your advice will be a tremendous help with my editing. You're a gem.

This is the perfect video for beginners who do not understand the intricacies of photography. I could not understand, until now, why some of the other youtube experts were pushing 24fps. With all of your knowledge, you should produce a paid video/photography class. New to your channel but learning a lot. Thank you.

Hi Zdenka hope you are well😀. It is jonathan again. My questions might sound very amature as I am a total beginner. I am currently using Samsung Galaxy S8 to take videos. 1. There are 5 video size settings of 16:9 of my phone's natural camera : HD, FHD, FHD(60fps), QHD, UHD. I would like to know which one I should use when it comes to shooting a B Roll? Do these options correspond to different frame rates as 24fps, 30, 60, 120 and 250?
2. I am using Viamaker to edit my videos. Do different video editing apps's timeline have different frame rates or is this something you can set within the editing app?
Thank you so much for your time and patience. 💗💗 J

Another wonderful, fully explained video. Every time I begin to watch one of your videos, I know I will be learning something and that is will be fully explained with easily understood examples. Most importantly, you provide the "whys". This is the missing element in so many other YouTube presenters. Thank you again for your quality work.

This was great. Totally makes sense now. Can you make a video on how to light a subject indoors and frame rates/ISO etc?

I shoot in PAL these days, then there's also no problem with flickering lights which are 50Hz in Europe.
And I don't usually worry about jitter in shots with people talking - it only matters with panning shots which as you said can be slowed down from 30 to 25 or 24.
