Anakin is worried that Luke will make the same mistake and be manipulated by the dark side. The Empire tries to convince Luke to leave his family so they don't hold him back. His family is distraught. They try to figure out how to bring him home. Luke joins Tarkan. Anakin can't take it anymore and goes to find Luke. Padme tells him to be careful.
She and Lea use the force to tell Luke to please come home. He feels conflicted. But Tarkan refocuses him.

Tarkan tells Luke that his final test is to fight his father. Anakin feels terrible that it has come to this. Memories of his own mistakes come back. They face off with each other, and hold up their light sabers. They start dualing with each other. Finally, Anakin stops and Luke holds the Lightsaber towards Anakin threatening to end him.
Anakin says softly, "We were a team remember?" Anakin intently looks into Lukes eyes. Luke's memories of him and his father training together wash over him. Luke turns to Tarkan and says that it's he who needs to be taken out. Anakin and Luke team up to fight Tarkan and the Empire.

The father and son come home. Padme and Lea are happy to see them.
