I have tattoos on my ribs, I have different piercings, but personally for me my nipples were the worst pain I've ever experienced in my whole life, I cannot even describe the scorching heat, the pain, the shakes that I experience, it felt like a stabbing wound literally, I've never experienced anything similar to that severity in my life. I was shaking and sweating trying to psych myself to do the second one.

Different people have different sensitivity on their nippies. It's not only about pain tolorance, but it is more about how sensitive your nippies are.

This just made me think of a story I saw from a piercer where they said they had one client come in to get their tatas pierced and was anxious. After the first one she said she wanted to take a break so she can make herself anxious again to have the adrenaline going for the second one. This woman walked out and made herself anxious to walk back in and say "Ok go"

Remember Everyone’s tolerance is different, and sometimes if you think you’re just experiencing discomfort versus pain and tell yourself it won’t last long, it helps! How I got through birth. Just uncomfortable. Not really “painful”


I’m just seeing this again, lol y’all are so chill, mindset is everything, and it’s a big comparison (aware pregnancy and birth are different for everybody❤) but it’s something that won’t last forever!

I got my nips done, my friend went first and she was screaming in pain so I braced myself and it wasn't that bad. Just goes to show everyone is different with their tolerances.

From my experience: My first time getting my nips pierced was not that bad in the moment, it was the aftermath that hurt the worst. But the second time getting them pierced… yeah I for sure felt that. That scar tissue wanted revenge.

I have a high pain tolerance. Also I find my nips are not sensitive at all. But yet. The nips piercings were painful!!!

Have had tattas, chin, tragus (ear cartledge), tongue AND belly button and agree 💯 the ear was the WORST not only the pain but you can HEAR IT!! 😬 and Slay Mimi x

I asked friends about nipple piercing pain and they all said it was completely fine. So I went in semi confident but ready for some pain still. My SOUL left my body for the 1st one, I was in shock for 10 min because the pain was insane. Second one hurt too but wow I've never imagined pain to be so overwhelming (and I have chronic pain and fall asleep during tattoos)

Thiis woman has implants. After having implants, you can actually lose sensitivity in your breasts and/or nipples. So may be a factor of why there wasn't any or much pain. Also, if you do lack sensitivity, nipple piercings can increase sensitivity.

My nipples and the conch were the WORST for me! Had to take my rings out after a year and I never plan to do them again! Luckily the conch healed up good and it doesn’t hurt at all 🙌🏼

It's so weird how we all react to pain differently, I have tattoos that people warned were going to hurt a lot and I felt almost nothing, the piercing that hurt you was completely painless for me yet I just KNOW that I'm too sensitive for the belly button for example. It already ridiculously hurts if I scratch it the wrong way

My mom pierced my ears when I was 6 with a needle… idk how I didn’t get an infection but I’m so grateful she pierced them cuz I don’t really remember the pain and I love wearing earrings 😁
