I just rescued one yesterday, everyone was chasing her around with food and she got really aggressive, I sat down and put the food beside me and faced my back to it, had a leash in my hand and after she ate it I showed her the leash and collar. She kept moving away and coming close, after realizing I wasn’t gonna force the collar on her and only would put it on if she let me, she happily came home with me

Yes!! My dad rescued "bully" breeds my whole life. We got Lady because the next door neighbor was a piece of shit to her she was only 10 months old and she lived to be 12 years old.
She saved my niece from being kidnapped off the school bus, my dad was in the yard with her and the next thing Lady jumped over the fence, my dad runs and sees her mouth clamped on the inside of a guys thigh, she heard my niece scream. She also would find other animals and bring them into the house!🤦‍♀️. Kittens, birds, to love on.

Lol so accurate! The one we had would never hurt anyone, but he had this low guttural growl, and it was SCARY. Anything he saw as a threat he'd get between me and the threat, sit, and growl. It stopped people dead in their tracks, but even off a leash, he wouldn't charge, wouldn't move from that spot, and would snap out of it as soon as I said, "It's ok Ragnar." Lol I never even trained him to do it. He just did it naturally, and I couldn't think up enough things to teach that dog. Super quick to pick up commands, and NEVER broke the rules. Easily the best dog I ever had.

Completely accurate!!! We love our Rottie!! She's a cuddle bug but definitely a, "Fu*k around and find out" kind of girl. ♥️

My wife adopted a rottie mix just over a year ago. He still doesn't like me but is very protective of my wife. The little brat is scared of everything and people laugh at that. But you try to hurt my wife he flips the switch and is taking atleast one leg and probably an arm with him.

It's astounding. The large, intimidating dogs you don't want thinking you're lunch are some of the sweetest and gentle of dogs, and then you got the tiny ones that to take you on

This describes my Rottie, named Mojo. 💜
He was an American Rottweiler, and he was HUGE! 150 Lbs. in his prime. His big, round dome head was nearly twice as big as my own head! He was a beast! Heavily muscled, fast, and had this fearless look in his eyes that told you that he was ALWAYS paying very close attention. He could be VERY intimidating to strangers. He had that look.
However, he was SO smart, and loyal, and sweet, and kind, and loving, and patient, and tolerant.
Best dog I've ever had. Sadly, he passed away just before he would've turned eight, because of prostate cancer.
I still miss him terribly. I love the breed, and someday I might try to get another, but not yet. It would feel too much like trying to replace a beloved family member. Perhaps that sounds silly, but to my heart, he was simply irreplaceable. He was one of a kind.
I miss you, Mojo. I'll always love you, buddy. 🐾

My rottie died when I was 13, had him since he was a puppy. I always believed he was running around heaven having the best time and he’d be there waiting for me when I go. Oh… I made myself sad.

My friend did search and rescue, also cadaver location dogs. His favorite breed for this work was the Rottweiler as they had both strength and stamina. He took his four year old search dog Klaus to NY after 9/11 to locate human remains. The work was physically exhausting also emotionally stressful. The humans there would often collapse because they were overwhelmed by the nature of their task. When Klaus saw that he would go over, sit with them and comfort them. Sadly Klaus was exposed to toxic substances on the 9/11 site and became very weak and ill (my friend got COPD.). He never recovered and died at age 6. An extraordinary dog.

My first Rottie encounter was the mechanic’s dog. I had to hang at the garage while my dad got a repair and she just leaned against me while I petted her to the point we both fell over. Such a sweet love bug

My first exposure to a rottie was at my dogs training class. He was the instructors dog. I was sitting there talking to the instructor and this huge dog, named Snoopy of all things, saunters over and sits on my crossed leg…he almost weighed as much as I did at the time. I was propelled forward by his sheer weight but didn’t dare move. Then he starts with this low growl which was pretty frightening and finally, the teacher says, “Snoopy! Get off of her!” More low growling in protest…I am not usually afraid of too many dogs but I was that day lol. He and I became friends and he was a sweetheart. Beautiful & scary looking but a great dog. 🐾♥️

I trained Rottys in the 90's and I will say that this video is one of the most accurate description of one of my all-time favorite breeds.

I am a pet groomer and I always end up with the Rottweilers and Rottie mixes because many groomers don't want them. Some are super scary when it comes to nail trims (I think because many have ticklish feet, can relate) and will bare their teeth but if someone just gives them head pets while I do it they are perfectly fine. Love the breed.

My friend I would visit, had a Rottweiler and it was huge and I was a little intimidated.
But it loved me! It would follow me around their house and sleep with me.
It whined when I left and when I would go back to visit was like a child at Christmas💕
When they called tell me
Rumble died, I cried like I lost my best friend😔

I fall on the “want to cuddle them” side. ❤️

Did you just watch Grease? But the better question was Did God just watch it with Olivia? Of course he did! And with a Rottweiler!

This profile is 100% accurate!! and I love you for getting it so right! I tell my Rottweiler the only thing that could make him perfect is if he could make me coffee! In every other way he is a 10 out of 10 stars!! Adorable and terrifying depending upon the moment!!
