As a corgi parent, I can attest, the cute aggression is real and severe. We’re always monching on our pembroke Welsh corgi. Unfortunately he’s also SO friendly that he’s always trying to leave the house to greet literally anyone on the off chance that they’ll give him a snack. (According to him, he hasn’t been fed a day in his life)

The cute aggression is real. Cuteness actually keeps my 9 week-old corgi puppy alive, because we are potty-training and crate-training while trying to preserve our shoes (and any personal belongings really) from being chewed when his toys get boring. After, you know, a day or so?

But the cuteness? The cuteness is a survival adaptation, and it’s why little Doug still gets to live with us hoomans even though he’s ruined our lives. ❤

Fun fact: Corgis are the sassiest being you will ever meet. I have one that barks at you when you don't give her attention and the other one just jumps on top of you. They both wiggle their butts when they walk so it just gives them the illusion of being sassy.

Edit: If some of my replies are long, I'm so sorry. I just love talking about animals. Especially that funny stuff they do.

Also 2nd edit: I rewatched the video, and how in the world are these working dogs? I can hardly get them to move to go outside to go to the bathroom. When they're young, they love to play, and even when they older, they still have their hyper times, but they are so lazy, and they sleep ALL the time. They get plenty of attention and playtime, but they need their 3 naps of the day.

And same edit: I have a new corgi now too! Now theirs three! They are all so cute. The babies are so small. I love them all so much.
