Started my cloud journey a little over a week ago. Always been interested in tech, never worked in it. I am currently taking a course for aws cloud architect now. I can honestly say I've never been so excited to sit down and learn something new. I dropped out of college a couple years ago because I felt stifled by having to sit in a classroom and learn arbitrary subjects I don't care about and pay thousands to do so (I did go the community college route before doing so, so I saved thousands there). We'll see what the future holds

04:00 this is so true. I live in Morocco and you couldn't even reach certain roles, especially engineering roles, if you didn't have a degree beforehand.
