I had a really big house and I walked in and there were at least 15 mobs. This helped a lot I haven’t had millions of mobs spawn, thanks.

My survival mansion house is way too big that make mob keep spawning especially creeper

I have an underground house on an island and a lot of creepers keep blowing up the joint. The base is very well lit.

Update I’ve renovated the base and mined to bedrock in one room dedicated to mining. The mob spawns have significantly decreased. I decided to not live there, but I do decorate it a lot with armour stands and I have a nether portal there.

I also made a giant sand castle which has a creeper problem atm. It well lit as I can make it. Birch tree grow on an inside garden so it may influence the spawn. The roof may need light as well. It’s on an island so I’d expect it may also factor in the spawn rate.

Mobs keep spawning in my house constantly. I used to use soul lanterns but I changed to normal due to the light it emits. Most of my rooms are small as its a bunch of rooms connected like a modern day house. I changed my In game brightness to the lowest and my house is fully lit up but from time to time mobs spawn in my house and its annoying.

This is a bit late but a suggestion would be getting one or more dogs they attack monsters so you won’t have too really worry

Does this also protect us from endermens? I'm playing survival with my bf and they seem to spawn nearby and bully tf out of us 😢 (one stared at me from my window god i hate them so much)

Acacia does not block light. If you plant it on a farmland block 1 block lower than the ground with a torch adjacent, it acts like a carpet that is flush with the surrounding blocks. No water needed for the farmland block!

This doesn’t work for large houses. Or maybe because the server is on the hardest difficulty. I’ve got entire floors and walls entirely covered with torches and the creepers still spawn every day. 😂
