Hi Hector - Very nice and informative videos. I have 1 or 2 files ( pdf or jepg ) attached to each transactions in QB desktop. Will these attachments files transfer to QB online and will it accessible just like how I use in QB desktop?

Hi Hector, your videos are amazing. Ty so much! I have several questions that I wonder if you can assist?

1)  My company has 2 arms (both a C3 and a C4) for which we currently have 2 QB Desktop files that we want to convert to QBO.  However, we use one company email address for both companies.  In other words, we don't have separate email addresses for each company as they all fall under one parent heading. Will we be able to convert the two files using the one email address?  I ask because I am trying to think through how QB will know which company to convert if we do that. Or do we need to create/setup separate email addresses for each company?

2) Is there a way to convert some but not all of the data from QB Desktop to QBO?  We only want to go back to a certain year vs the inception of the QB Desktop file - is there some way to initiate that during the conversion?

3) We all have a lot of vendors and customers set up years ago in the QB Desktop file that are not used currently and we would prefer not to carry over to QBO.  Is there a way to do that?  If we inactivate those vendors will they not convert over?

4) Lastly, do you have any videos on how to set up QBO if we purchased the software from Techsoup?

Hey Hector, after clicking on "Get Started", the screen goes blank. Any suggestions on how I can convert my data? I do not have the option of "Export data to QuickBooks Online" under the company tab.

You stressed that once the conversion is done it’s a one time. I made the conversion a few weeks back but the numbers were no right so I called back recently QBD had me to convert again and know the numbers are really off. I’ve been using QBD for 20 years and I’m not sure what my options are now? Can I like create a new company and convert again? Help please!

My client import data from QB desktop to QB online. The deposits are still appearing in Sales tab. These are reconciled already. How do I clear these from the Sales Tab? It is appearing as overdue.
