How to upgrade your QuickBooks Desktop software

If you’ve purchased an upgrade to your current version of QuickBooks Desktop then the easiest way to install it is with the QuickBooks Desktop Manager.

I have been a QuickBooks customer since 1993. When I started using QuickBooks initially, it was a great product and continued to be so until the early 2000s. Since then, it appears that cooks have taken over this company, they have cut down the customer support, and it is almost nonexistent at present. It was bad enough that they required an upgrade every three years, but effective 2022, they have changed it to an online subscription model.

They want to keep billing continuously without providing any customer support. At this time, the customer support for QuickBooks is nonexistent. They expect you to get customer support from other users, which they called the QuickBooks community!

I wish there were a competition for QuickBooks; I would switch in a heartbeat. It is so terrible that all these greedy crooks are taking over these companies, creating Monopoly, and then exploiting the users.

Good day how can I use barcodes with quickbooks

It's never an easy process... They don't even mention if you have to uninstall the old software first or not. Does the QuickBooks company file have to be upgraded first? What is the process if you have the company file on a server and have multiple users? I'm an IT guy and QuickBooks has been the bane of my career so far. I've also had issues with it not working with Windows firewall and security software.

Whoever determined this is the best way to upgrade quickbooks should go to jail. What a bizarro and inconvenient way to keep a service you already have.
