For anyone scared. Rabies in humans is not that common and if you get bitten by a doggy or another animal that's not infected you'll be ok just clean you cut and get you and the animal checked

Guys look I got bit by my friends dog in January here is what will happen if the bite isn't deep and it's like a claw scratch or a bite that is only as deep as a scratch all you have to do is clean it with alcohol and Bernadine after that, and irritation will occur so the place will get red and swell for 1 day or 2 days maybe 3 (it has nothing to do with rabies don't worry) but if you are not sure if the dog is in good health and is clean and vaccinated make sure u seek medical care

I'm not a professional but I'm talking as a person who gets in contact with dogs alot, and who got bitten last week and today

I’m not sure what’s going on but for these past 2 days I’ve been feeling really bad. 3 days ago I got bit by dog who was eating a raw chicken and the exact same day in less than an hour I started developing really weird attitudes. Ever since the first day I literally couldn’t drink any water but my appetite was “ok.” I went to sleep that night and I started feeling really hyperactive and I couldn’t sleep well. The second day when I woke up I tried drinking some water but I couldn’t because it seemed like brain was telling me not to. This is the day when I lost my appetite as well and I felt like I had a fever (lots of sweating) but according to the doctors that checked me my temperature was fine. Today, the third day in the morning I just felt like I didn’t want to get up from bed. I was having a little trip of nostalgia and I woke up sweaty yet again. I tried to eat but I was not feeling hungry. I tried to eat the chicken and I was able to swallow it perfectly but for some reason my brain was telling me not to eat the tortilla. I’m having a lot of trouble swallowing water and it’s making me very anxious. I noticed that I have more saliva in my mouth than usual and I can’t speak well with all this saliva developing in my mouth. I just hope that God has mercy for my soul and hopefully I can recover from this nightmare because this is not a pleasant experience.

I got scratched by a dog 5 yrs ago, I didn't used injection but nothing happened to me. I'm lucky that the dog who bit me wasn't infected.

To everyone in the comments stressing out about having rabies. If an animal bit you and you see that it is still alive 14 days later, then you do not have rabies. Don’t worry :) !

I was running and i hear a dog bark in a distance and when i got back into our house i see my left leg got a scratch and bruise and i dont know if this scratch or bite because i dont feel anything when im outside of the house and its beem 9 days and i got headaches 2 days row wish me luck guys hope yall not getting rabies i think im gonna die bye bye guys ingat.

my friend got bitten a little bit on the hand (a scratch, no blood). four days later started experiencing headaches, now they've been lasting for a week. no other symptoms though, no temperature and the scratch healed. could it be rabies? the incubation period would be way too short and the symptoms too long, right?

This is will be a dumb question but I caught my dog playing with stray dogs and he got other dog saliva in his fur but it dries immidietly and in the afternoon it's raining he got wet and shake his fur and one tiny droplet from his fur got in my eye am I at risk?

My son is in the final stages of this disease. He was bit by a huge sewer rat. It’s hard to see him go thru this. Breaks my heart in half.
