Slipper adjustment, problem solved😊

This video demonstrates the easy necessary steps to adjust your slipper clutch. It comes way too loose out the box. Especially if you upgrade to beefier wheels you need to tighten it considerably. For any future video watchers your rtr 4x4 should come with a 8mm wrench that you can use to adjust the slipper instead of using pliers. Thanks for the vid. Helped me out. I wasnt sure how to get access to the slipper but this vid helped!

ur slash is clean af if you ever need a heavy duty clean to help get rust off and stuff try wd-40, simple green and oven cleaner it works really well

I just put the same Swampers you have on my slash 4x4 I think the tires a little heavy for the stock gearing I have I'm going to bump down to 11 Pinon running VXL stock with 3s lipo good video man the Swampers just look dope

Glad you got that straightened out! Sounds much better now. Next time you can just remove the clear plastic center driveshaft cover from the top and access the slipper nut with the wrench that they include. Much easier that way 😉

My slash has its slipper clutch and it's like a brake. It works the engine really hard and I even loosened it as much as I could, but it is still acting like a brake. It dosent want to accelerate either.

Please help me I built my stampede 4x4 and it’s not even popping a wheelies and I have shocks that have threads that you screw down or up and screwed the threads all the way down front and rear still not popping willies even on 3S Lipo how can I fix it to pop willies and my slipper nut is tightened all the way

Nice video. For someone smart enough to use the word “contra-lateral, ” I would think a box wrench and not pliers would be the tool of choice. :) Anyway, I backed mine off two flats, 60 degrees, and it seems to act like it should.

Hello i just wanted to say that my Traxxas slash was making a wierd sound every time i would go half or full throttle the motor sound like it was being forced allot and it made a sound that i didnt like so i thought maybe the motor was loose so i tightend up the screw a bit more but the sound was still the same. So could it be that my slipper clutch is loose? Pls help me

Tom u don’t half to get a different power system u can change the gearing changing the spur n pinion is a lot cheaper then buying a new brushless system
