Wish you could do a slightly different video for a specific case. I have a brand new drive that had an end partition that was empty and I had made it sharable so I could move in some files from a different drive, but those files were said to be inaccessible after the move and they were said to not even be there. So I decided to delete them and for some reason it says it cannot find the file that specifies whether something is shared or not so now it cannot unshare things and given it was already an empty drive I tried in Computer Management to re format the drive as I am the administrator as it is my computer and this is a new external drive.

So is there some way to override and force a format of a single partition? It said it could not....and this is Windows 7. This does not involve the C drive.
So is there a way to override this and force a partition that is technically empty yet says it is full which is a lie as this is my hard drive and was bought by myself only on Dec 1st so it is not due to a drive failure issue.
I just want to be able to format a partition that says it cannot find a needed file. But do not worry, this is NOT drive C but drive O and on an external hard drive.
I just want to reformat just one partition and need a start over as it did not have anything in it anyway.

sfc /scannow also not fixing my issue. Couldn't start few services. Its greyed out. Automatic option doesn't work. Shows error as "The system cannot find the path specified."

Sir, what if my laptop does not have authomatic repair after selecting language? It go derectly to choose option. Troubleshoot and turn off pc your pc is under of it.

Wish you could explain why each of these steps may or may not work and what the root causes of this error could be. If Microsoft throws this error, why doesn't Windows simply run those steps in the background?
