Most people are only eligible to enroll in Medicare during their Initial Enrollment Period (three months before and after your 65th birthday) or during the Annual Enrollment Period (October 15 – December 7).
However, there are several circumstances that may make you eligible for a Special Enrollment Period outside of the initial and annual enrollment periods! This will allow you to enroll in a new Medicare Plan or make changes to your current coverage.
