I knew I recognized Dorsey Armstrong's voice. I've already heard her talking about King Arthur in an audiobook I have. Medieval Myths & Mysteries. That's the first thing this video reminded me of because I learned a lot from that section of that book.

In the Sam Neil version of and the Welsh folklore of Merlin, Uther has a red dragon crest and his name is welsh celtic origin. Caerleon in Wales has an amphitheatre many believe was the round table.

Jack Whyte, has a series of books around the Arthur theme. I believe the first one is "The Sky Stone". An historically plausible telling of the story.

The earliest mention of a legendary Romano-British military leader post Roman occupation of Britain comes from the only surviving contemporary source from the 6th Century, De Excidio et Conquestu Britanniae written by Welsk Monk Gildas, which recounts the history of the Britons before and during the coming of the Saxons. But Gildas makes no mention of a person called Arthur. In his account of the battle of Mount Badon where Saxon expansion was halted by an army of unified Britons, he attributes the victory to the leader of that army, Ambrosius Aurelianus, a Romano-Briton born in the late 5th Century. Ambrosius Aurelianus is often referred to as ‘Bear’ due to the military tunic that he wore being made from the pelt of a Bear. This is interesting, as the word Bear when translated into Celtic is ‘Artos’. Artio (Dea Artio in the Gallo-Roman religion) is a Celtic Bear goddess. The Celtic form, Arto-rix means Bear King. The word 'Bear' in middle Welsh is Arth. In Old Breton, it is Ard. Was Ambrosius Aurelianus also the leader of the Britons post Roman occupation? If he was the overall leader as well as the commander of the army of the Britons, he could be King Arthur. Arth (Bear) and Aur (Aurelianus). Arth-Aur??

The prophecy definitely didn't say future king of england. Since arthur was fighting the anglo saxons who invaded britain and after whom england would be named.

This is actually Season 4 (according to the website) and not Season 3, so this is labeled incorrectly.

I just assume the real king Arthur was just a Welsh commander or Roman-Briton governor fights Anglo and Saxon invaders.
