Your stem cell supply drastically declines as your age, along with it your body’s ability to repair and regenerate. Can herbal supplements trigger the release of more stem cells into your circulation to promote healing and rejuvenation? Listen to this fascinating conversation with stem cell scientist Dr. Christian Drapeau who will explain how he discovered that certain herbs can mobilize stem cells into the body and drastically enhance the body’s ability to heal, and how he was able to formulate a dietary supplement product that combines 5 extraordinary herbs to achieve such. Dr. Drapeau dives deep into the mechanisms of action of how these herbs are able to help mobilize stem cells, and also the importance of stem cells for antiaging purposes.

ABOUT THE GUEST:

Christian Drapeau is a stem cell scientist, author and creator of the first stem cell supplement. He holds a graduate degree in Neurophysiology and has been involved in medical research for 30+ years, the last 20 specifically dedicated to stem cell research. The author of 5 books, including the best-selling "Cracking the Stem Cell Code,” he has published dozens of scientific papers on brain research and a biological process he coined called “Endogenous Stem Cell Mobilization”. Having lectured in 50+ countries on stem cell research, Christian is known by scientists, physicians and biohackers alike as an expert and pioneer of his field. A scientific advisor to many companies, is currently the CEO and Founder of Kalyagen where he developed the most potent stem cell mobilizer, STEMREGEN.

ABOUT DR. JOY KONG:

Joy Kong, M.D. is a UCLA-trained, triple board-certified physician (American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology, American Board of Addiction Medicine, American Board of Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine). Of her many accomplishments, the following are highlights:

Founder/CEO of Uplyft Longevity Center & THEA Center for Regenerative Medicine in Los Angeles, California, where she specializes in stem cell therapy, ketamine therapy, as well as a wide range of therapeutic modalities to enhance overall health and combat diseases in a holistic approach, esp. by enhancing the body’s innate regenerative potentials.

Founder/President of American Academy of Integrative Cell Therapy, where she provides training to physicians on the science, clinical evidence and safe protocols in Stem Cell Therapy.

Board member of American Association of Stem Cell Physicians. Faculty member of Medical Wellness Association (a leading global organization on health and wellness).

Published author in scientific journals in regenerative medicine research.

Developer of unique regenerative medicine products and protocols.

Founder/CEO of Chara Biologics, a company dedicated to providing cutting-edge regenerative medicine products in the US and to the global market.

Dr. Kong’s memoir Tiger of Beijing has garnered tremendous interest, and was named “2020 Book of the Year” from IAOTP and showcased at Time Square.

I bought two bottles of this product before finding out his aloe macroclada study only had 4 participants. 😞 Maybe it is a wonderful plant, but for the price and limited research, I think I'll hold off on further purchases until more studies are available.

Dr. Christian Drapeau presentation/explanation of L-selectin is complicated. From various science papers the bio-associated expression of L-selectin is with leukocytes and TEM. In his explanation, to paraphrase, is it the MSC cell stimulated by the turbulence (minute 32) at the capillary/venule junction ? to express L-selectin which in turn is stimulated by this turbulence, and causes the cell membrane to express CXL4 receptor, and therefore migrate to an area of inflammation ?  It would be good to cite a scientific paper with this bio-mechanism explained.
From the web: "L-selectin, which is expressed by most leukocytes in the blood, mediates leukocyte tethering and rolling on activated endothelial surfaces as a prerequisite to firm adhesion and transendothelial migration. L-selectin is expressed constitutively on lymphocytes ...". I couldn't find any literature about allogeneic hMSCs migrating to the bone marrow. I am aware in the SCT procedure for blood cancers, the IV of hemopoietic blood stem cells after myeloabalative conditioning, the infused donor stem cells migrate to the bone marrow.
Would like to have a more detailed explanation.
From further research, there is a relationship between L-selectin and hMSCs. I am inclined to think that there are many routes that the hMSCs can migrate to areas of inflammation besides via the capillary/vascular area. Where does the lymphatic system come into play ? it is part of the circulatory system. It will take me some extra time to delve into this perception.
Thank you Dr. Joy for this presentation, the quest for full understanding of hMSCs continues.

Wpuld like to know the type of relation between let say BPC-157 and the migration of stem cells to the repair site.
