Dealing with Impostor Syndrome & Criticism

I have received overwhelming support from my last video where I discussed my first Django project. With that always comes the criticism from the small minority. While these critics are not worth paying any attention to this does open up the perfect opportunity to address dealing with imposture syndrome that many devs feel.

Ignore the hate, watching someone's work and thinking they can do it is different from actually doing it.

Wow! Dennis you absolutely made my day with this video. I've been trying to learn the basics and get into web development, but often have second guesses as to whether I can do it or not. I came across your encouraging video here and it couldn't have been better timing. Exactly what I needed to hear. Not only that, but you have produced the clearest tutorials on Django I've come across. Thank you!

Today you have gained huge respect dennis. My mom always says, " a person achieves success whenever he hasn't spoon fed, learns and builds everything on his own." Also the most humble persons are only who have achieved a lot on their own and they value others success.

These kind of videos, are important too; it's like what Traves Media does sometimes.
Appearing to our side of situation, we really face a difficult times but such testimonial videos strengthen our passion and make us keep pushing to reach our goals.
Talking about that sales video, I didn't consider it's value in terms of money, but inspiration; but to me, even that price was good enough (in my country it's 80 millions and something) when you think about it, the product wa tailored and fit to a company, you spend almost two years with it, and it was ready to use; in that situation does those haters suggest "you refuse to sell it and put it into what it was made for, and just wait till the price goes up or wait the rise of other company to purchase it ".
Btw, they say "if you ain't experiencing any haters, you've nothing of any values"
So keep encouraging us,
Wish I can triple subscribe and quadruple like your contents.

Greetings from Tanzania 🇹🇿

Never take seriously attacks from people on the Internet. The major part are just trolls or keyboard warriors. Good video!

Hey Dennis, the last time I emailed you I wanted to send you the code of my first django app but I was feeling embarrassed how terrible it is. Though the app is working and still stable for about 3 years now but its really a very bad coding :). This video made me more comfortable to keep writing bad codes until I figure out how to get it better.
Thanks bro.

Don't mind these (critical) people.
Normal people just dislike the vid if they don't like it, but these are special kind of people who want to waste theirs and your's time by sending an email just to send hate, like that is gonna help anybody and improve something.

People who say Dennis isn’t a real dev!
Ans: His Django beginner crash course is best in the world for absolute beginner to mid level devs. [Disclaimer: I watched Corey S, Coding Entrepreneurs, Just Django & udemy videos]

I wouldn't worry too much about what other people say about your webchops. I've seen quite a few of your videos, and watched the OG django video about your website, and I was impressed. Those idiots who think that can do it in a weekend? Ha. Go for it.

Dude, your $40k video was what inspired me to jump into Django. Will see if I can play your strategy as smoothly as you did (developing a web app for my company as we speak 😂).
