Wait until you all realise you can further dismantle the glass frame, dry the desiccant and reassemble! Wont cost anymore than some tape and the oven time :)

What clearance do you allow and have you shown how to heel and boot a double glazed unit?

Clue!!
All that water sitting in the frame,
There is a problem with the drainage. it's either blocked or not drilled during manufacturing.

This is why this DG unit has failed,

The new one will do the same prematurely,
if the drainage isn't rectified.

As this sitting water turns to ice in winter, the ice expands and breaks the seal on the DG unit.
Causing moisture and condensation to go in between.

If you have just the rubber bead on the outside then it’s easier to pop those out first as it allows the glazing unit to move enough to then pop the inner beads out without a hammer and scraper which often causes damage (I know this as I did it the hard way the first time 🤦‍♂️)

You don’t need to take it out to measure it.
