So heres my take. Before the fall, there was a oneness. Everything God made was good. Eden is a place. The garden was east in Eden. It’s not the garden of Eden rather the garden was east in Eden. So Eden is in the presence of God. Think of it like before the fall there was no separation between heaven and earth as we know it. Heaven and earth were one in the same. Explains why God took a walk in the garden at the cool of the day. Lucifer was in the garden of Eden. And had not fallen. The temptation of Adam was the same rebellion in which Lucifer was cast out of heaven. As Lucifer waged a rebellion in heaven, Adam and his wife were also a pawn in that rebellion thus the temptation. Ezekiel 28:13 describes Lucifer in Eden in a glorious state. As though he hadn’t fallen yet. Now let’s talk about the tree of life. God sent an angel to keep the way of the tree of life so that Adam wouldn’t eat from it and live forever. Adam was kicked out aka fell. The oneness between heaven and earth was broken and he became an earthly being. Bound to the physical realm and out of the garden/ Gods presence/ eden. The tree of life is mentioned again in revelation 2:7. And says “To him who overcomes I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God." So the tree of life is In Eden and also in the paradise of God. So Eden as I mentioned earlier is paradise. It’s not just an earthly physical garden. It exists in this space where heaven meets earth. The state in which Adam existed before the fall. It’s in paradise. And elements of it are on earth but the reality is that it’s also cannot be physically found on earth. Just my thought. My theory
The garden of eden is still within the spiritual realm.
And when God casted them out, they were no longer worthy of heaven and sent them to earth.
During the events of eden on earth that's when dinosaurs, the ice age all happened.
That meadow alot of people talk about being in during NDEs I think that's part of the garden of eden.

Jasonmiller is correct this garden is no longer on the earth. When Adam sinned God closed it from humans. It was a place that was bewteen heaven and earth basically on top of the earth (North pole perhaps). Hence the reason why Genesis says the fours rivers flowed out of Eden to water the whole Earth.
