FYI: the bible never says the fruit is an apple. It's just known "fruit".

So one interesting detail of Noah’s flood that frequently gets overlooked is that it says great rivers of water burst forth from the ground. The Bible also references oceans under the earth in other passages. It would make sense that these underground bodies of water could’ve destroyed Eden during the flood. I think the idea that the “whole world” meant the known world of the Middle East, although many cultures do have a catastrophic flood story around the globe.

The more I read the Bible and study history, I’ve come to the revelation that I believe the Bible is 100% literal. People like to say it’s full of metaphors and analogies but I believe it’s all true the more I study history.

Fun Fact: Not one time is the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil identified as an apple. Painters from hundreds of years later just used an apple in SOME of the paintings of Eden and it stuck. We don't actually know what type of fruit it was or even if that fruit still exists.

It wasn’t an apple, but a fruit and it was the knowledge of good and evil, not just knowledge.

What a lot of people never give thought to about the flood, is you have to keep in mind this was the creator of everything! In other words I'm sure he made sure this worked out well, people are always saying there's no way man could do this or that, your right they obviously had help from the creator.

One theory I’ve heard is that the Garden was located where the Persian Gulf is now. After Noah’s Flood, the flood-waters receded, but God kept the Persian Gulf flooded to hide the Garden beneath its waters. Scientists have studied the seabed of the Gulf and found evidence of early settlements.

The reason we can’t find Eden is because God hid the garden from man.

As a Christian, the older writings of the Bible (everything in the Old Testament) such as this always fascinated me. I always wondered if Eden was a real place, or just a poetic metaphor like you said. However, I always try to remember what Paul said in 1 Corinthians:

“For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified”

In other words, these aren’t the arguments that Christians should try and win. Only Jesus

I always assumed that the eviction from the garden of eden was a reference to when the Sahara went from green to desert and drove populations to migrate to the north east towards Mesopotamia. Certainly some populations traveled south further into Africa, but the origins of the story seem to be from populations of the northern migration. Some of the geographical references don't make sense in that context though, so I'm not sure how to square that away.

The old man writing the letter wrote at such an incredible speed it looked like the words formed before his hand passed over it.

On google maps you see where the Euphrates River flows. Near Khorramshahr the Kanun River flows into the Euphrates River. To a person standing in that area it looks like at least 4 rivers converging. It would be a great place to have a garden.

The true name of the fruit is the "fruit of knowledge of good and evil" quite such a long name and is nowhere near an apple and Yes, the Garden of Eden exists but most probably have been wiped out during the flood in the time of Noah.
As a Christian I appreciate this content, awesome video by the way!

There was a documentary I saw not too long ago and it talked about this and there was a bunch of sciencey research and stuff I don't exactly remember the specifics of, but basically, they scanned the area around the two remaining rivers and came across the possibility of at least one of the missing rivers being long extinct and its supposed path perfectly lining up with the two remaining ones. They also found something about how the Persian Gulf used to be smaller and they put forth the possibility that the fourth river, along with the point where they all met up and thus the Garden of Eden, would've been accessible back in the time of the story, but since then, that part of the area is now underwater in the Persian Gulf, which would also go along with the idea that God would make sure that no one could ever be able to go back and eat from the Tree of Life as well. And with the flood story, the regional flood makes a bit more sense because at the time, as stated in the video, there were less people, but they were also less spread out so said flood wouldn't need to cover as much ares to wipe out all of humanity as it would today

I watched a video once that showed satellite images detailing the bottom of the Persian gulf, and it showed the remains of the Tigris and Euphrates meeting with two other rivers in the seabed. What’s more is that geological evidence shows that it would have been a very fertile area around 6000 years ago before the Persian gulf formed over it. I can’t temper the channel name tho, but if it’s true I think that’s the place the Bible describes as the garden of eden

Correction:
The Bible didn't refered the fruit as "APPLE".
The Bible called it, "The Fruit of knowledge between good and evil."
🙌😁

The fact that the Karun river and the fossil river of Rimah-Batin were not mentioned shows either incompetence in research, extreme bias in the material, or most likely both.

The mountains were not as tall before and during the great flood. The mountains rose afterward, you can find seashells on Mt. Everest and other mountains

I thought it was destroyed, considering the Garden existed prior to Noah's flood.
