BEAUTY AND THE BEAST & HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME teach: Don't judge people on how they look.

POCAHONTAS teaches: do not discriminate and everyone is equal

LION KING teaches: sometimes family can't be trusted; have the courage to face your past;

For me, the best lesson is from 'The Beauty and The Beast' and 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame'. What matters is in the inside, no the appearance; for the love and friendship don't matter the looks, but the personality, accept the person for who she/he is, also learn to accept each other with their defects.

Disney teach us very important things in the life and we don't notice it when we're children, but now we are adult people, we appreciate what Disney teach us in their movies. I will always love Disney <3

Another lesson I've learned from Disney films is that sometimes you have to make a painful choice for the sake of others. "Monsters Inc" showed this when Sully had to leave Boo at her home, as did "The Fox and the Hound" when Widow Tweed had to leave Tod in the forest when Amos kept threatening him.

Take responsibility. Example from the lion king.

Some others:
Relationships aren't necessary (Moana, Frozen, Brave, etc.)
Don't let one bad relationship get in the way of your current good one (Hercules)
Getting friend zoned is okay (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
Don't automatically settle for the first person (Frozen)

"You can't marry a man who you just met."

Well, basically that's happen in every Disney Princess ever except for Mulan, Pocahontas, Moana and Merida (if you count her as Disney Princess).

10. Wouldve been nice if the classic Disney movies taught that too instead of the more recent films
9. If only that applied more to real life couples
8. What strengths? Ill get back to you on that
7. The painful truth that needs to be the first thing couples have to accept
6. Shame there are those that dont
5. More often than not the emotions show but in a negative way
4. If only it were that simple
3. Assuming there really was any real love to begin with
2. Judging a book by its cover is the first thing a lot of people do when meeting someone for the first time
1. Yes if "yourself" is a genuinely good person

The Lion King: Don't dwell on the bad things that have happened in the past and don't blame yourself for something that isn't your fault.

These lessons have gotten me through life and are one of the many reasons why the Lion King is - and always will be - my favourite film of all time!

Be yourself is obviously number one! Also, Pocahontas message is to stop hating on people, and to learn to get along, no need for violence and stupid riots! Being brave to stop both sides from their pointless wars.

This is good relationship advice and I'm glad that Disney gave us this lesson to understand and learn. Thanks to all of this, I will now get better with relationship while staying true to myself. My main struggle with relationship was having confidence in who i am. Thank you Ms Mojo and Disney so very much. This truly help me a lot :)

Disney remakes and films like Enchanted maybe giving a more "realistic" (and I use the term loosely) outlook on certain fairy tale ideas of relationships. But if you ask me, I feel that ABC's Once Upon A Time did a better job at that.

With Snow and David/Prince Charming, we learn that love isn't always easy or starts out smoothly. But if you stick together, bring out each other's greatest strengths and never stop trying to find each other; love will come.

With Queen Regina; we learn that evil isn't born, it's made (through greed, trauma, one's selfishness or whatever other negative vice exists.) More importantly; we learn that everyone deserves a second chance, if they want one.

With Rumpelstiltskin; we learned the dangers of obsession, cowardice and that one should never choose power over happiness/love.

With Henry, we learned to never stop believing in good things; even when the world is against you.

With Emma, we learn that life may not always be easy. But instead of putting up walls or barriers, we should learn to trust people and trust in hope for a better life

I love that they express that some of these lessons are important to all relationships, not just romantic ones.

Love these lessons, The Greatest Showman also has some amazing messages about self love and self worth, my favorite quote is from the journalist: "Taking people of all sizes, shapes and colors and presenting them as equals. Some may call it a celebration of humanity." So beautiful and rings true even today :)
