Never underestimate French revanchism. The encirclement of Germany through the Triple Alliance. Thus the land war in Europe. Germany had no further land graph demands on France. I think France escapes the responsibility rather well.

Militarism does include coersion happening during conscription into the miilitary too. Speakng of acronyms in general which describes what happens on slippery slopes -- What does the acronym M.A.I.D. stand for too?
