Dr. K K Aggarwal, President Heart Care Foundation of India and Group Editor in Chief MEDtalks, will discuss about irritable bowel syndrome related to stress in this video. He will explain it according to Vedic philosophy. When a thought arises from a disturbed state of mind, the thought is analyzed in the mind by the intellect then personalized by the ego and then order is given to body for action. Action is stored in the form of memory and memory will lead to desires and then actions again. If the desire is not fulfilled then it lead to suppressed anger which can result in a gastrointestinal chemical leading to IBS and other conditions.

If unwanted chemicals in lower GI tract causes IBS then why certain foods trigger ibs? Shouldn't it be triggered irrespective of any food taken?

Overall this theory sounds logical and I'll try to apply it in my case by addressing my suppressed anger and frustration due to unfulfilled desires and past actions.
