Thank you for creating this video as the visuals help me to understand you better. However, the shape of the step in this video baffles me...I have never seen that type of step before. Can you please help me understand this type of step so l can benefit as well?

Dr. Berg has done a lot of good videos on dealing with physical problems and they've all worked for me. Especially the idea of addressing the opposite leg or joint to the one giving you problems.

My wearing Crocs all the time one summer gave me stiffness and mild pain in the knees. My knees got much better after I began rotating different kinds of shoes

Thank you. Good succinct advice. Never would’ve realized the correlation between the patellar and calves so thank you

Thank you greatly for the concise message. Fascinating how when I was diagnosed with patellar tendonitis in 2007 they focused on my IT band and quads in physical therapy. Then in 2019 my physical therapist focused primarily on my calves.. so at different eras of science, my treatment was totally different..

I had that as a kid and I did those stretches and they did help.

But you want to know how I finally got rid of the problem? I changed my diet.

The knee pain that I had to suffer with when my knees were young has completely disappeared in my old age thanks to Paleo/Keto/intermittent fasting.

I think the best stretch is tensor fasciae latae and hip flexors that make the imbalance mostly (we are mostly sitting)

Good to know that my exercise physiologist got it right. I get pain in the front part of my right knee occasionally. I have a reconstructed right ankle. And the calf muscle stretches are really helping my muscles a lot, but I didn't know they would also help my knee! 🎉
