i think my ex partner perceived me as an introverted person, with not a lot of self confidence, especially in the first few months of dating. probably because he was my first real relationship where i felt in love, and thus i put him on a pedastal and really wanted to make it work. i think this resulted in me not standing up for my boundaries and trying to accomodate his ways and feelings too much and take on too much responsibility when issues arose. also i had a phase of depression during that stage.
but actually i'd say i'm quite confident, i love myself, and i know my worth. i do a lot of the things mentioned in the video. i think eventually he saw that too but it was too late. i was fed up with being the only one putting in effort to make the relationship work. i held on to a guy who was not willing or capable to step up and meet my needs. but i know i made mistakes too, and now i'm trying to get over it and get a better mindset on how to handle relationships. makes me feel better to see it as learning experience even though it still hurts a lot. next time i'll be better prepared and choose my partner even more wisely!

Question though; what if your relationship failed because you were severely abused by a diagnosed narcissist, and what you apparently did wrong was basically never meet what he expected? @Mark - why don’t you teach men how to be real men? So much advice to women everywhere but the advice to men is brutal, misogynistic and awful. As a man you should be focusing on making men be better men instead of seeing the increase of porn addiction, rape, abuse, game addiction, disrespect towards women, wanting 50/50 Bs because they can’t be providers. What do men have to offer that us women want to even want to date them these days? The quality of men is the lowest of barrel.

Bloody hell? Women have to be perfect and superhuman. We have to do all of this as well as be a mother, house keeper, sex kitten and work so we can pay half the bills. I think id rather give up.
