the man reason i havent shown buttons because this game has two different button layouts. also xbox layout is different. Its assumed you went into training and you know the move... but super counter = up + square, and z counter is R1 at right time. I am using standard controllers.

Ill add a small tip. Change the training dummy to gogeta ssj4. Then put the training settings on. You're gonna be facing very fast people online. Its better to start with learning to vanish/counter those super fast attacks. Once you have that down. Any other character will be a breeze to counter. (Also put the difficulty of the training dummy to super)

if you listen closely during the smash attacks, there's actually an audible cue thats perfect for the high speed evasion. right around the time that they flash for the perfect release, kinda like a small cymbal or bell. it is not the easiest thing to notice, but it gives you somewhere to start. I was training against Vegito when I noticed the consistency of my timing improved when I started listening for the cue.

Front facing = perception
If I get turned around by a rolling hammer then super counter all day or take the L. Would rather not revenge counter unless it’s a last resort because once it gets countered with perception I have to go to super counter anyway.
