Swampert is literally the best starter pokemon

This is no debate all of them are my favorites 💯 to me personally it’s all about leveling up your starter and making it stronger I done it in ruby sapphire emerald omega ruby and alpha sapphire straight 🆙 💯♾️

I would choose Torchic because it's adorable, Blaziken is super cool and strong
Other options are pretty solid too
But Treecko has poor moveset in Originals, and Leaf Blade is special in Remakes, even though it is a special attacker
And Swampert's face looks a little silly, so i don't like it as much as Blaziken

Every Pokemon game I choose the water starter because I’m bias since Water Pokemon are just too cool/cute!). But on my second playthrough, Treecko > Muslim because Swampert looks opposite of cute or cool. Plus Sceptile becomes a dragon.

Also definitely agree, all starters are great but Treecko and Torchic don't have many opportunities to stand out when it comes to type matchups
Plus Swampert with Surf, Earthquake, Ice Beam, and Brick Break is GOAT

Treecko does not have a good early game, it only has absorb, lol. Until level 29 it does not learn a new grass move. Worst of the 3, by far.
