Imo. Zangoose or vigoroth is a better pokemon due to slaking having truant. Zangoose can have status guts facade works great. And vigo learns some great moves and has vital spirit which can’t be slept on

Absol sucks gen three, sp dark as it’s only stab with a sp atk stat twice as small as its atk stat. The only coverage move it learns on lvl up is future sight for gods sake, it’s only purpose is if you get baton pass on it by breeding with a Mawile and using it to just sub/sword/pass into a usable Pokémon. I’m sure you liked it when it was on your team when you played as a kid but it’s just simply not even mid.

Though Plusle and Minun are my favorite pokemon overall, I can definitely see why Manectric would be the best electric type in gen 3 since Manectric has a much higher BST AND a mega evolution

Truant is one of the worst ability in the game. Swellow is better not only for the ability (Guts) but also for hms (Fly) and stab moves like steel wing and return. He is also one of the fastest pokemon in the entire game. You can catch it easily as a Tailow between level 5-13. An A-tier pokemon in nuzlockes and competitively during its time.
