preview_player
Показать описание
Ketones are formed and used when glucose is low or fatty acids are high.
They are an alternative energy source (mainly for the brain).
Ketones are often formed during times of fasting, starvation, alcohol intake, increased fatty acid intake, and uncontrolled type 1 diabetes.

That was great! Clear, concise, and informative. Like a little explosion of connecting dots! I'm currently testing LiAcAc on certain cancer cells to see if metabolism can function normally and it's giving interesting results! 🔬

So in case of no glucose in body, oxalo-acetate is pulled out from mitochondrio to form glucose? And when all Oxalo-acetate is used, Krebs cycle can't occur and Acetyl-CoA will accumulate. I hope I understood it correctly! This was amazing video!! OMG you're great!

So, when you are in “Ketosis” you actually still need insulin and glucose to ensure there is not a run away effect producing loads of ketones???

The brain is not predominantly a glucose metabolisers. This is incorrect.
