Great video I need to know the levels of ketosis thanks. I have been on omad for about 6 months and my blood readings are between 75 to 95 with 1.2 to 2.5 ketones. I have lost around 50 pounds. I also have type 2 diabetes and prostrate cancer. I feel better than I have for the last 30 years. I am 70 years old. Thank you so much for all of your videos. I feel they have saved my life.

Thank you! I needed this. My ketones are only ever between 1 & 2. I was thinking I was doing something wrong. However, I am losing weight I just thought if my ketones were higher I’d lose more weight faster. Now I know I’ll stick to my levels. It’s working for me. Thank you! Your videos are extraordinarily helpful!!!

Dr. Boz (Dr. Annette Bosworth, MD) is a great source for battling cancer through fasting and the Ketogenic Diet, as she worked with her mother in overcoming Cancer, and uses a protocol she developed in fighting cancer. You can find her on YouTube as well. Just an FYI.

I'm doing keto IF and OMAD, my ketone is between 2.0-3.0. I really feel comfortable and great in this range.

Thanks so much for all your information. I started keto last week, researched and eased into it gently. Had some issues with stomach due to no gallbladder and too much dairy, but lost 4 pounds in first 4 days, inflammation gone and loads more energy. One of your team advised MCT, which I got. I also swapped dairy for goats butter. I avoided keto flu by following the advice of lots of water, extra salt and magnesium. Yesterday my ketone level was 1.4, yay, but today (day 8) it went up to 3.8. Panic! I worried that it was too high, but after watching this video I feel more reassured. It seems my liver may be just healing now that the carbs and years of excessive wine have gone and my body is in ketosis. Sadly my weight has stayed static for the last 4 days, despite being fully in ketosis. I’ll see if it all settles down. If not, I may book in for a consult with you.

Just started testing my ketones and it was really informative to how much carbs I can and/or need to add. I added a small amount of carbs that my body was craving and I felt so much better and stayed in ideal ketosis.

First time I did Ketosis my levels were 8.0. I was shocked it was so high but I'm glad it was!

I was at 0.5 5 days ago. My blood sugar rose over the past few days but my ketones went down to 0.2! I’ve been doing everything by the book!

What about Dr Atkins ? I was only 12 but his book was the only source for learning about low carb and ketosis
There were no special foods available, so I was eating carnivore
I did an experiment and ate bacon all day for 2 weeks with no other foods, and I lost 10 pounds !
Of course I went back to greens and protein and fat and loss another 15 pounds the next month
There was a chapter on maintenance
So I continued until I learned fasting, and now I follow you!

I've been wanting this for so long!! Thank you Mindy! Ketone variation drives me nuts at times chasing numbers I think I should have....I personally feel pretty keto clear in a range from 1.5-2.5...but man, it gets hard to stay there when you have been in ketosis for a long time... it seems harder for me to maintain that range.

Thank you. I am located in Tomball Texas and every day try to “study” 2-3 hours on this topic that I’ve become passionate about. I’m currently taking the PreKureMe program with the PreKure team in NZ from my home (phone and laptop). But I watch you tube presentations often if I am out walking or doing housework.

Thank you for this video. I was a little confused looking up ketone levels. But I knew finding dr Mindy, she would answer my concerns.
I’m attempting to do a 21 day fast. Im currently on day 6 and my ketone level is 4.7.
I felt great up to today. felt a little keto flu on day 4 and 5 otherwise great. Not hungry and had energy. But today I feel sleepy with my ketone at 4.7. I have the keto mojo as well.
I may stop at day 10 but we will see. Thanks Dr Mindy!

I easily reached the theraputic level of ketosis of 3.4 mmol/L with the carnivore diet. I just eat bacon and eggs twice a day. If I am too lazy to cook, I just have a can of sardines.

It is very easy, I don't even exercise and have to kind of force myself to eat because of how not hungry I am.

At 0:30 you talk about getting the blood sugar down to the lowest and about what‘s a safe range . What IS a safe range ?
