A math tutorial on how to solve a probability problem involving coin tosses. We're told that 30 out of 50 coin tosses were heads. The coin will be tossed 40 more times. How many of those extra tosses must be head for 50% of all the tosses to be heads?

There will be 50 + 40 = 90 tosses made in total. For 50% of those to be heads, 0.5 * 90 = 45 must come up heads. Since 30 were already heads, 15 of the 40 extra tosses must come up heads.
