In this video, he isn't explaining very clearly plus he got my head spinning for the first time, otherwise I love his teachings :D

this is so confusing and this is basically the only thing left I need to know for the GED... I wish someone would break it down with the rules and good explanation

Getting questions wrong isn't helping the people who don't understand, just makes it more confusing for them. I would suggest looking over your work before you post :D Nonetheless this video still helped me a lot, thanks.

Thank you! I finally understand this and can quickly figure out the slope now. The only trouble I'm having is the negative and positive changes. At one point you change the numbers from positive to negative by removing them from both sides before changing the problem to begin with Y. How can you tell when to do that and when not to? I thought possibly it was because the number joined to x was first in the problem, but noticed that when it is, you only sometimes remove or change those numbers? I'm going to see if my teacher can help me further understand but probably that's where people are getting confused. Great video, I've been so confused about this! Thanks again

Nice teaching and I appreciate your modisty the only problem I seem to see with this teaching lesson is your skipping steps by combining them, which isn't bad but it is harder for someone who is new to the concept because they are just learning all of the steps. This is a very nice video though because it was just a review for me and not the first time learning it.

14:52 you did 9 wrong. The equation says -5=-10x+y but you wrote it as -5=10x+y

I usually love this guy but I have no clue what's going on here!! I think he might need to erase this and do another slope video.

the correct answer for the problem # 9 is +10, no negative. You made a mistake when you rewrite the problem because you forgot the negative sign on -10 x

Check the number 9 one more time.
You've made a mistake
When you have : -5=-10x+y => -10x+y=-5
                                             : y=-5+10x then the slope will be equal to 10.
